Don Barger

Don Barger began his missionary career in the Dominican Republic, where he and his wife, Jennifier, used Bible storying and community health strategies for beginning new churches. Don later oversaw the International Mission Board’s (IMB) work among indigenous people groups in Mexico and Central America. For a decade, Don led the team training IMB missionaries and partners in effective communication with oral cultures. 

Don now serves as the Director of Innovation at the IMB where he leads a team working in Artificial Intelligence, Digital and Immersive Engagement, Design Thinking, and Gaming.
